i wonder what's happening on other instances while we're being gay
i was being serious actually (well, at least half), the fact that we don't have to care about what the fuck is going on elsewhere is probably the reason why mastodon feels so much more peaceful to me

don't get me wrong, i still enjoy twitter for different reasons, but i'm also well aware that it's been playing a fairly important role in my anxiety for a long time
i mean i'm anxious about fucking everything, but having less stuff to care about seems like a logical and reasonable solution to this
honestly not sure where i'm going with this, sorry.
right now my life is pretty much about having to throw a lot of old stuff in a giant metaphorical bonfire and rebuild myself around what's left, and in a way this feels like one of the steps, idk, it's comforting.
